A note from the creator

Howdy — I’m Duncan.

I started Ego Audit because understanding the ego changed the way I saw my reactions, insecurity, ambition, relationships, and identity.

For most of my life, I thought ego simply meant arrogance. Now I see that it runs much deeper than that.

These ideas are not built from the belief that I’ve figured it all out, but from the realization that ego keeps operating until we learn how to see it properly.

Ego Audit is my attempt to make that awareness more practical and accessible.

Inspired by art, various schools of philosophy, modern culture, and Christian values.

No one is above the audit.
I am in it every day.

The rest is up to you.

how to begin

Radical acceptance

The ego does not discriminate.
It is a part of all of us.

radical honesty

At times, this will feel like looking into a mirror you instinctively want to look away from.

Keep looking, before life
forces you to.

radical awareness

No one needs a degree in philosophy to grow in their awareness. You need the willingness to notice what is operating within you.

it starts with you
